Mom & Me Mother's Day Make a Silver Charm and Stretch Beaded Bracelet

*This class is a special parent/child experience. Therefore tickets must be purchased in a minimum of 2. Children may be of any age 6-years and up. One adult may bring up to 2 children . Adult children are welcome, too! All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. No children will be allowed into the studio without a paid ticket.

*We recognize that not all families have a traditional structure, and we welcome "mothers" of all types!

**Please be aware that the instructor is there to teach the class ONLY, not to provide childcare. Each adult is responsible for their own child/children. For their own safety and for the consideration of others, children who are not able to follow instructions and behave properly will be asked to leave with no refunds.

Fingernail Moon Jewelry Studio is in FAVO - Faith Arts Village Orlando - a vintage 1950s era motel that has been converted into artist studios. Just off Colonial Drive/Highway 50 near I-4, we are conveniently located at the north end of downtown Orlando. Using the address 718 Highland Ave. you will arrive at the outer parking lot. To enter the facility, turn north on Highland from Colonial, there is a stoplight, and enter the second driveway on the left, through a black fence. You will see a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". Proceed through the parking lot to the far right and rear and on through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. You will see an L-shaped building with colorful doors - that's us! I am studio 237, second from the end upstairs on the right. Look for the moons!

Info: During the first two hours we will create personalized silver charms with precious metal clay. Each mother/daughter pair will receive 5 grams of silver clay, enough to make 2 small charms. There will be full instructions and supervision, and all materials and tools will be provided.

Info: There are plenty of restaurants in the area of all types and price ranges. During this break, the silver charms will be fired and finished by the instructor and will be ready to add to the bracelets.

Info: There will be a selection of beads to choose from to make the bracelets. We will be guided through the process of designing and stringing the beads and tying them off. Semi-precious stone beads will be available for purchase if desired.
