Moksa Brewing proudly partners with The Comedians with Disabilities Act for their 2026 Spring Tour, bringing them to their FREE monthly comedy show MoksaHaHa, which takes place the final Tuesday of every month.

The groundbreaking troupe hits the road to celebrate disability representation and raise funds for their upcoming documentary, "Going Beyond the Punchlines."

SACRAMENTO, CA — The Comedians with Disabilities Act (CWDA), the premier comedy troupe redefining humor and challenging perceptions since 2010, is thrilled to announce its 2026 Spring Tour. With stops spanning California, Montana, and Oregon, this tour brings a bold, comedic perspective to mainstream entertainment while supporting the post-production of their highly anticipated docu-special, The Comedians with Disabilities Act: Going Beyond the Punchlines.

The tour highlights massive headlining events, each showcasing the diverse talents and "unfiltered" voices of the troupe.

This tour stop at Moksa Brewing Company in Rocklin features Forbes-recognized comedian Jade Theriault. A veteran of SF Sketchfest and the San Jose Improv, Theriault has opened for Jesus Trejo and was honored for "Best Joke of the Night" at the Westside Comedy Festival. Joining her are:

"Going Beyond the Punchlines" Documentary

Both shows offer audiences a preview of the powerful personalities featured in the upcoming film, The Comedians with Disabilities Act: Going Beyond the Punchlines. This first-of-its-kind documentary follows 10 comedians, capturing their journey to the stage and the real-life experiences behind the humor. Proceeds from the tour will go toward the final funding needed for the film’s post-production.

"Our disabilities are just one aspect of who we are and the comedy we create," says the troupe. This season’s representation includes physical, mental health, learning, speech, medical, and sensory disabilities.

CWDA is a Northern California-based troupe that showcases comedians with all types of disabilities. Since 2010, they have performed at colleges, comedy clubs, and corporate events across the country to emphasize that disability is not a barrier to stand up comedy and has proved across the country the value of representation in stand up. The movie includes the CWDA’s own Nina G as the executive producer and Gina Chin-Davis as the director.
