Mojo and his all-star, six-piece ensemble will take you back to the heyday of Chicago’s blues clubs of the 1940s and 1950s. Artists such as Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson and Elmore James were among those who prowled the clubs of the Windy City and electrified the rural southern Blues, giving it a gritty, urban edge. Their music formed the roots of much of today’s contemporary music. Mojo and the band will bring that mercurial, visceral sound back to life in a celebration of the power and beauty of authentic Chicago Blues.The band consists of some of Australia’s finest and most authentic Blues players:
Mojo Webb on vocals, piano and guitar; JB Lewis and Dan Nosovich on guitars; Greg Baker on vocals and harmonica; Jon Flynn on double bass and Coojee Timms on vocals and drums.
