Don’t miss this unique opening night, an opportunity to discover WERIEM’s art, immerse yourself in Tunisian culture, and learn the stories behind her beautiful creations.
“In Théâtre du silence, WERIEM creates an intimate stage where emotion is revealed in fragments rather than declarations. Bringing together works from her Eyes and Pierrot series, the exhibition explores the tension between concealment and revelation.
The Eyes paintings isolate the gaze, as if the soul reveals itself only in fragile portions. Tears shimmer like constellations, transforming sorrow into light. With Pierrot, the silent mime, figures exist in suspended moments between stillness and performance, embodying introspection and quiet vulnerability.
Across both series, silence becomes a language of its own. Masks become windows. Through restraint and poetic atmosphere, WERIEM invites viewers to pause, reflect, and recognize the subtle interplay of beauty, loss, and imagination within our shared human experience.”
