Artist Bio:
I'm a painter who specializes in girl power. My artwork is highly reflective of my childhood, the “vibe” and all elements that feel pop art. Inspired by the advertisement style of the 70’s and early to mid 2000’s depicting a reoccurring pouting doll-like figure with big hair, big eyes, and big (redacted) that is at once a self-portrait of myself and the fantasy of our coolest, hottest selves… it’s like the “little too adult” way I played with dolls reimagined to the canvas. A playful engagement with sexual objectification and body modification that highlights the fun parts of being a hot girl. It’s colorful and bright like a doll advertisement/wardrobe/accessories are. These elements come together to set a ~~vibe~~ and depict our fantasies.
