Mohawk Valley Science Teachers - Saturday Science

Come spend the day with local science teachers! Learn what the NY Power Authority has to offer for teachers at the NY Energy Zone located near the Utica Zoo. Then take a tour of the facility and attend an informative workshop with your Mohawk Valley Subject Area Representatives. Deadline for registration is March 29.

Info: The day will include a guided tour of the NY Energy Zone, its interactive displays, history of electricity, and an opportunity to ask about class visits. Workshops with your SARS will take place in the classrooms at the lower level of the building. Intermediate Carly Hein, Earth Science Katrhyn Lister, Biology Carrie Kane, Physics Brian Connery and Chemistry Erin Tucci will each have sessions on investigations, standards and other current issues in your subject areas. It will be a GREAT opportunity to share with each other. Lunch will be catered by Brooklyn Pickle.
