About Moe Velez Rameau

AKA "Moe" Velez is a DJ, producer, and musician based in Denver with a deep passion for jazz and electronic music. As the host of KUVO’s Jazz Odyssey, he has spent over five years curating forward-thinking jazz selections for the airwaves.

Velez also co-founded an electronic record label that garnered acclaim from Billboard Magazine, Complex, XLR8R, and more. Regularly spinning house and club music at Denver’s most notable venues, he brings an innovative approach to sound.

For his Five Points Jazz Roots performance, Velez will tap into the spiritual and meditative elements of jazz, electronic, and experimental music—offering a performance that transcends genres and transports listeners.
