About this Event
Federal departments are operating in increasingly complex hybrid and containerized environments where reliability, speed, and observability are critical. Traditional monitoring and manual remediation can no longer keep pace with the scale of modern OpenShift platforms or the operational demands placed on government systems.
This Modernization & Automation Lab Day brings together Dynatrace, Red Hat, and PureLogic to demonstrate how AI-driven observability, intelligent root-cause detection, and automated remediation create a unified, self-healing operational model tailored for government environments.
Drawing from real practices showcased in Dynatrace’s Observability Clinics, Red Hat’s self-healing infrastructure blueprint, and joint automation deep dives, this event provides a practical look at how departments can move from detection → diagnosis → automated action → verification using Dynatrace Davis AI, Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat OpenShift as a cohesive ecosystem.
The day is designed for both executive leaders and technical practitioners:
For Executives (CIOs, Directors, Advisors):
We explore modernization strategies, budget alignment, and CER (Cloud Enablement & Readiness) considerations. Participants will gain insight into how observability and automation reduce MTTR, enhance service reliability, and support departmental modernization initiatives across SSC, ESDC, BoC, EDC, and others
For Technical Teams (Engineers, Architects, Operators):
The hands-on lab walks through real OpenShift scenarios where attendees deploy Dynatrace OneAgent using Ansible, simulate failures, analyze root cause with Davis AI, and execute automated remediation workflows that Red Hat and Dynatrace use in production environments.
By the end of the session, participants will understand:
- How AI-driven observability identifies issues earlier and with full-stack context
- How Red Hat Ansible executes fast, reliable, and repeatable remediation
- How closed-loop automation validates and verifies system recovery
- How these technologies combine to reduce operational load and strengthen platform resilience
- How federal departments can adopt these patterns to support modernization and CER outcomes
