Kick off the spooky season with a special screening of the 1959 classic, North by Northwest, presented by Indiana Landmarks’ affinity group Indiana Modern. One of the first films to portray Modernist architecture as a symbol of elegance and sophistication, Alfred Hitchcock’s spy thriller features the Vandamm House, an unforgettable setting inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic Fallingwater. Before the film, enjoy a brief introduction exploring the fictional house’s fascinating origins and Wright’s celebrated masterpiece of organic architecture.
Tickets cost $10/general public and are free to Indiana Modern and Indiana Landmarks members.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and program begins at 6 p.m. at Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Avenue, Indianapolis, which is accessible to all. The film screening will include a short intermission.
