Modern Cancer Pain Management
About this Event
Overview
Cancer pain is one of the most challenging and undertreated aspects of oncology care, with growing evidence highlighting the need for more personalised, multimodal approaches that go far beyond opioid prescribing alone. As more people live longer with cancer, including those managing incurable disease, the complexity of pain presentations increases, spanning neuropathic, bone, visceral and total pain along with the psychological and existential dimensions that are often left unaddressed.
This hybrid study day brings together leading experts in pain medicine, palliative care, Ph*rm*cy, nursing and integrative oncology to provide an up-to-date, practical review of modern cancer pain management. The programme is grounded in current evidence and shaped directly by the real-world challenges healthcare professionals told us matter most
