Here are the Halloween Happenings:
Trick or Treat with the Merchants in Downtown Mocksville: Costumed merchants will treat trick-or-treaters to candy and prizes on Friday, October 31st, throughout the afternoon and early evening.
Halloween Spooktacular: Brock’s Haunted Legends
For some thrills and chills, make sure to visit the Brock Gym at 644 N Main Street for Davie County Recreation and Parks’ Halloween Spooktacular: Brock’s Haunted Legends! Open from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. $3 per person, cash or card. All ages welcome, parental guidance is advised.
Parking
If you want to come downtown, we welcome you. Please park your vehicle downtown or in the parking lots on side streets. Once the roads are closed, no one (not even local residents) will be able to gain access. Our primary focus is to provide a safe place for kids and their families to enjoy Halloween.
Road Closures
Please note that for the safety of the children and their families, sheriff’s deputies will be downtown at 5 p.m. to manage traffic. North Main Street will be closed from Gaither Street to Oak Street from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Side roads onto Main Street through this area will also be blocked off. MLK will be open.
