Rural Women's Day and Women of the Murray are proud to be hosting our second collaborative long lunch at Moama Bowling Club on Sunday, June 21.We are incredibly proud to welcome our guest speakers Rebecca Huismann and Bentia Bensch.
Rebecca’s story is one of resilience, determination, and unwavering purpose. Growing up on a farm with a love for horses and the outdoors, her life took an unexpected turn at a young age, setting her on a path that would challenge her in ways most of us could never imagine.
What followed was a journey of rebuilding, redefining, and refusing to be limited by circumstance.
Today, Rebecca is the Founder and CEO of Vision Fitness and Support Services leading a growing team and supporting dozens of individuals to live meaningful, empowered lives. Her work is deeply rooted in lived experience, compassion, and a belief that every person deserves the opportunity to create a life they love.
Rebecca’s story is not one of limitation, but of strength, growth, and possibility. And we cannot wait for you to hear it.
Benita Bensch is an Australian author, speaker, coach, farmer and mother of four from Moama, NSW.
Her work explores visibility, identity, transitions and purpose, particularly in the often unseen spaces of motherhood, rural living, and personal change. Drawing on over a decade of coaching experience, alongside her own lived experience in agriculture, family, and business, Benita creates spaces for women to reconnect with themselves, their voice, and their next chapter.
Benita is a certified Motherhood Studies Practitioner and her work is grounded in storytelling, narrative therapy principles, and a deep belief that being seen begins with seeing yourself first. She is the author of The Art of Trying and Seen Again, and has contributed to multiple collections of women’s stories.
Whether she is writing, speaking, or facilitating conversations, Benita is passionate about bringing people together, honouring their stories, and illuminating what is often left unspoken – especially in rural and regional communities.
