Starting around March 31st and running every Monday until the end of October, Julie "Macbeth" and Suzanne "Shogun" host a gravel ride that kicks off from Salem High School, 46181 Joy Rd, Canton, MI parking lot at 6:00 p.m. sharp. It’s a community ride, which means everyone is welcome.
What to expect?
Distance: 28-40 miles—because who doesn’t love a surprise? It depends on the time of year and how ambitious we’re feeling.
Pace: 15-20 mph—fast enough to feel like you’re working, but not fast enough to need an oxygen tank. Well, sometimes!
Groups: Usually 3-ish (A, B & C)—split based on speed, stamina, and whatever vibes are in the air that evening.
Most folks rock gravel bikes, but honestly, ride whatever you’ve got. Tricycle? MTB? Unicycle? We won't judge. The route changes every week (because life’s too short for repetitive scenery) and is conveniently posted on the Monday Night Gravel Grinder Facebook page. Download the route before the ride, so you know where you're going and won't get lost.
