The City of Peoria is hosting a Celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Saturday January 18, 2025, from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. This event will be held at the Peoria Municipal Complex’s Centennial Park 8401 W. Monroe Street, Peoria AZ 85345.
Come out and celebrate within the community with several local non-profits and service organizations, enjoy a variety of arts and cultural activities such as participatory African drumming demonstrations with Dr. Lydia Woods of Drum Arizona, live music featuring local artists, live mural painting by Cinque Smith, arts and community resources.
Additionally, there will be food trucks onsite serving complimentary small bites for attendees to enjoy, as well as full plate options for purchase. Meal service will run from 3-5:30pm on the city hall campus.
