Event canceled due to inclement weather predictions. KCCB MLK Day of Service Roadside Cleanup
Copperas Cove, Texas – Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful (KCCB), in partnership with the Copperas Cove Police Department, is pleased to announce an MLK Day of Service Roadside Cleanup event on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9am to 11am. All interested volunteers are invited to meet in the parking lot of the City Park, located in front of the red #COVE sign, for check-in. Necessary supplies will be provided to all participants.
This day is an opportunity to reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose life’s work centered on justice, compassion, and bringing communities together. Dr. King believed that service to others was not only a responsibility, but a powerful way to build unity and strengthen the bonds within our neighborhoods. By participating in this cleanup, volunteers can honor his vision by taking part in a collective act of care by improving our shared spaces, supporting one another, and demonstrating that positive change begins with each of us.
