The O’Donnell Law Firm, Friedman Jewish Community Center, and Luzerne County NAACP, in cooperation with the Wilkes-Barre Health Department, will be conducting the 2nd Annual “Blankets and Broth” program. Volunteers will be making fringe blankets at the Friedman JCC to be distributed to Ruth's Place, The Salvation Army, Kirby Family House, and Keystone Mission. Additionally, we are asking for canned soup and broth donations for Sara’s Table Food Pantry housed at the Friedman JCC.
We have supplies for 100 blankets and need more volunteers to help us accomplish our goal. Contact Barbara at the Friedman JCC at (570) 824-4646 or email [email protected].
