MLK Day of Service 2026 at West Windsor Arts

Join West Windsor Arts and African American Parent Support Group as we partner with local agencies to provide much needed assistance to the people they serve.

Volunteer in person on Monday, January 19th 2026, to package donations for distribution and participate in special projects. The total number of volunteer spots are limited for the safety of our participants. Children are welcome to volunteer along with their parent/guardian.

If you can't make it, advance donations are still needed! Registration for donations is not required. See below for a list of needed items.

Bring your donated items to West Windsor Arts:

We are seeking the following donations for these organizations:

Rise Community Services, for youth ages 3 - 12:

1. new pajamas
2. toothbrush, toothpaste
3. gently used or new books

Children's Home Society, for moms and infants:

1. handmade crocheted or knitted hats
2. handmade crocheted or knitted baby blankets

Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK):

1. plastic utensils (fork, knife, spoon)
2. napkins
3. elastic bands

Letters Against Isolation, for seniors in New Jersey:

1. Handwritten notes (find inspiration here)

Millhill Child and Family Development:

1. Toddler Underwear (4T to XS)
2. Socks
3. Vaseline
4. Chapsticks
5. Lotion
6. Hair Ties/ Headbands

HiTOPS: Gender Affirming Clothing

1. Jackets/flannels
2. New boxer briefs - XS, S, Med
3. Button downs
4. Skirts
5. Trans Tape (high priority)
6. Prom Dresses
7. Larger women's shoes
8. Smaller men's shoes
9. Breast forms
10. Tucking Underwear- XS, S ,Med
11. Packers and Packing Underwear - XS, S, Med

PEI Kids:
