The YMCA of Natrona County, in partnership with Casper Spuds Baseball, is excited to invite youth in our community to participate in the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition. This event is a fun, inclusive, and a FREE opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills and connect with others through the love of the game.

⏰ Session Options:
Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Mike Lansing Field
330 Kati Lane, Casper, WY 82601
💲 Cost: FREE
👥 Ages: 7–14 (age as of November 15, 2026)
This event is open to all youth, regardless of experience level, and is designed to create a welcoming space where participants can build confidence, have fun, and feel a sense of belonging.
Why participate?
Compete against other young athletes in pitching, hitting and running challenges.
Connect with peers and celebrate skill successes.
All participants are invited to the Spuds vs Aviators baseball game for FREE following the event and to participate in the opening ceremony on June 20th.
Opportunity to advance to the Team Championship, which is held at Coors Field, the home of the Colorado Rockies.
Opportunity all-expenses-paid trip to the World Series for Youth Athletes and a parents/guardian for advancing competitors.
Additional Information:
175 pre-registered participants automatically advanced the top competitors to the Team Championship competition at the Colorado Rockies; otherwise, advancement is based on top scores of players and the qualifiers will be notified after July 15th.
Athletes are welcome to bring their personal bat for the hitting competition but they must meet MLB rules;
Proper documentation of child’s date of birth is required for verification at the time of the event.
No penalties or fees if a registered participant are unable to attend the event.
Concessions, free waters, young sibling entertainment will be available; and an option to purchase swag for the game.
