MJ Horsemanship Groundwork/Confidence Clinic

I’m considering hosting a Groundwork & Confidence Building Clinic through MJ Horsemanship and would love to see if there’s enough interest!
No matter your horse’s age, breed, discipline, or experience level, groundwork is the foundation of everything we do. A horse that is respectful, responsive, confident, and connected on the ground is often safer, more willing, and more successful under saddle.
Whether you’re working with a young horse, a seasoned trail horse, a performance horse, or one that simply needs a little confidence and direction, this clinic would focus on practical exercises you can use long after the clinic is over.
Potential topics include-�• Understanding horse body language�• Building trust and confidence�• Respect and responsiveness on the ground�• Leading, backing, and yielding exercises�• Desensitization and obstacle work�• Problem-solving common behavioral issues�• Creating a better partnership with your horse
Participants would haul in their own horses and receive a combination of group instruction and individualized coaching throughout the clinic.
Not interested in bringing a horse? Auditors would also be welcome at a reduced rate! Auditing is a great way to learn, observe different horses and situations, ask questions, and take home valuable knowledge without hauling a horse.
