Mixology Workshop - Out of Orbit: Featuring Gin

Take a trip out of orbit with a guided gin tasting, a little tropical inspiration, and a Saturn cocktail that's out of this world.
About this Event

Check in. Shake up. Stay awhile.

Join us at F the Bar for Out of Orbit, our mixology workshop exploring the world of gin through a guided tasting, cocktail education, and a hands-on Saturn cocktail experience. We're taking a little detour from the ordinary with a night of botanical flavors, tropical ingredients, and vintage cocktail lounge vibes.

We'll kick things off with a welcome cocktail before diving into a guided tasting of three distinct gin styles: London Dry, Old Tom, and Contemporary. Featuring Fords Gin, Spring 44, and Hendrick's, we'll explore the botanicals, flavor profiles, and unique characteristics that make each style different—and how those differences shape the cocktails we love.

Then it's your turn behind the shaker. You'll build your own Saturn, a classic tropical cocktail featuring gin, lemon, passion fruit, falernum, and orgeat. Bright citrus, tropical sweetness, and layers of botanical flavor come together in a drink that's truly out of this world.

Whether you're a gin enthusiast or just checking in to try something new, Out of Orbit is your chance to taste, learn, experiment, and shake up a little something unexpected—all with a touch of old-school motel charm, right here in Downtown Las Vegas.

To create a more intimate experience, this workshop will be offered in three small-group sessions throughout the evening, giving everyone plenty of time to taste, ask questions, and enjoy the experience.

Available session times:

• 4:00 PM
• 5:30 PM
• 7:00 PM

Space is limited for each session—check in before all the rooms are filled.

Leave in good spirits.
