About this Event

Explore how to work with multiple metals to create dynamic, wearable jewelry.

In this class, participants will create a pair of earrings using brass and copper while learning foundational cold forging techniques such as hammering, punching, and forming. You’ll also be introduced to wire link construction and how to combine metals for contrast and visual impact.

The class also covers important considerations for earring design, including material selection, comfort, and metal care.

What you’ll learn:

  • Cold forging techniques for brass and copper
  • Mixing metals for design contrast
  • Wire connection methods
  • Material care and wearability

No prior experience is necessary — just bring your creativity! All tools and materials are provided.

Please wear natural fibers, close-toed shoes, full length pants, and have any long hair pulled back. If you would like to bring your own safety glasses you may; otherwise, we will have extras here.

*Age 16+ (under 18 MUST be accompanied by a guardian)
