In this playful and hands-on camp, children will experiment with a variety of materials, textures, and techniques while learning about famous artists who loved to mix media in their work. Through layering, building, and decorating, students will develop Creativity, Artistic Confidence, and Material Exploration.

Daily Creative Discoveries:
Day 1: Textures & Collage
Collage with Textures – Inspired by Eric Carle:
Create vibrant collage artwork using colorful papers, fabrics, and textured materials while exploring the playful collage style of Eric Carle.

Day 2: Painting & Mixed Materials
Expressive Painting – Inspired by Wassily Kandinsky:
Combine painting with unexpected materials like paper, patterns, and shapes while exploring Kandinsky’s bold colors and abstract style.

Day 3: 3D Art & Layering
Layered Mixed Media – Inspired by Henri Matisse:
Build layered artwork using cutouts, shapes, and raised elements to create depth, inspired by Matisse’s famous paper cut-out style.

Day 4: Shine & Finish
Gold Leaf Artwork – Inspired by Gustav Klimt:
Add a touch of sparkle using gold leaf and your favorite medium to create a decorative masterpiece inspired by Klimt’s iconic golden artworks.
