Temple Solel's Tikkun Olam Committee will lead this special day of community service and learning, bringing our congregation together to support those in need.
Our Tikkun Olam Committee focuses on community outreach, social justice, and environmental justice. It embodies the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam, which means "repairing the world." It educates and engages congregants in various issues, including clean energy, climate change and sea level rise, clean energy, composting, hunger, and more. Many of their activities are organized in conjunction with the Temple Solel Religious School.
