In retirement there are numerous ways to go about protecting ourselves and our assets. Before retirement we are in the accumulation phase, but once we enter retirement very few of us would consider we are still accumulating, but rather our goals may shift towards protection, preservation, and distribution. In the field of finance there are many tools to go about handling this, and with everyone having situations so unique, it can be daunting navigating these waters. Johnny Poitras is back to put on another workshop, this time around these risks that individuals can face in retirement and go over a broad overview of them and discuss a couple of the tools along the way, and the pros and cons of some of them to greater expand your knowledge. Since everyone's situations are so different, he cannot give advice on what you should do in that moment, but he will give a broader overview of these risks and how they can impact us in retirement.
