Join Mitchell Main Street & Beyond for one of Mitchell's favorite holiday traditions as downtown comes alive with festive lights, community spirit, and patriotic pride!
In celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, this year's Parade of Lights theme is "250 Years of Stars, Stripes & Christmas Lights." We invite businesses, organizations, schools, churches, families, and community groups to light up Main Street with creative floats, festive displays, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
📅 Date: Tuesday, December 1, 2026
🕖 Parade Begins: 7:00 PM
📍 Parade Route: Beginning at 1st Avenue and traveling north to 9th Avenue on Main Street
Before the parade, kick off the celebration with Christmas at the World's Only Corn Palace! Details coming soon!
