Cedric Newman
Cedric was born in Jamaica, raised in Montreal and now calls Toronto home. A long serving professional who’s graced stages across Canada and throughout Europe. He doesn’t stop there…he’s participated in radio shows, festivals, fundraisers and corporate events to name a few. He’s had the pleasure of working with some of the industries big names such as Russel Peters, Shaun Majunder and Gerry Dee. Cedric’s passion and versatility is apparent when he’s on stage and his love for making people laugh is undeniable. Over the past few years you may have caught Cedric on Family Feud Canada, Traiters Canada, Amazing Race Canada and the Great Canadian LaughOff.
Darren Frost
For over 30 years Darren has toured the world bringing his unique brand of standup comedy. Darren thrives on hyper-driving criticisms, dark revelation and lunacy. His ability to command the undivided attention of an audience is remarkable. Most recently just taped an episode of Roast Battle Canada and appeared for his fourth time at Just For Laughs. He is the only comedian in Canada to independently release over 8 comedy specials, all of which are available in his comedy box set The Darkness Within: 25 hours of Uncensored Comedy.
Darren was nominated twice at the 2014 Canadian Comedy Awards Including Best Male Standup. He has been mentioned four times in the top ten comedy moments of the year by Toronto entertainment magazine Now. Multiple appearances at various comedy festivals across Canada including multiple appearances at Just For Laughs and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Darren has appeared in major Hollywood films Harispray, Dont Say A Word and Fever Pitch. Countless tv credits including Kojak, Murdoch Mysteries, Lost Girl and Mr D.
