Come join the Missouri Mycological Society (MOMS) for our lively in-person Bi-Monthly Meetings held at Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood! These gatherings are a great way to stay connected, learn something new, and enjoy good company and good food.
Each meeting kicks off with a brief update on MOMS events and initiatives, hosted by Peggy Green. Then, enjoy a featured speaker presentation on a topic of fungal fascination. This month, we're excited to welcome MOMS member Emily Hemeyer who will give us a talk "MycoColor: The Science and Practice of Mushroom Dyeing"
We'll wrap up the evening with a Mingle and Munch in the Schlafly Brewpub—grab a drink, share stories, and connect with fellow mushroom enthusiasts.
Whether you’re a seasoned mycophile or just mushroom-curious, these meetings are a perfect way to stay engaged with the local fungal community. See you there!
