Join us for the world premiere of the documentary about the Mississippi Speed Record in 2023!
Happening at the Riverview Theater in Minneapolis, MN on August 3rd, 2024. Doors open at 10 am, film starts at 10:30 am.
Update: We will also have a Reception/Celebration/Pizza Party with a Panel Discussion featuring members of the MSR paddling and support crew teams and moderated by support crew member and author Frank Bures, from 5pm to 8pm on the same day, at the Calhoun Room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Airport hotel.

For those who don't know, the Mississippi Speed Record is the team that set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest canoe trip down all 2,340 miles of the Mississippi River. They completed their trip in just 16 days 20 hours and 16 minutes! The team had 4 paddlers in 1 canoe and an essential support crew of over 15 people.
This exciting documentary follows their entire journey from Lake Itasca, Minnesota where the river is just a small creek to the Gulf of Mexico in Venice, LA where the river can be over a mile wide in places.
All four paddlers and many support crew members will be at the premiere in attendance. There will be a Q&A session with the paddlers and filmmakers after the film.
Concessions from the theater will be available.
Tickets for both events are not yet available but will soon be sold online for both events and at the door for the film.
