ABOUT THE BOOK:
Museum educator Kat Chua refuses to fall in love. Love made her mom put up with years of emotional abuse, and left her broken-hearted long after Kat’s father ran away with another woman. Love is a trap, and Kat would much rather remain free to pursue her secret dream to create and publish comics about Lady Kidlat, a Filipina superhero who wields the power of lightning.
