Please join Missions as we work with the local nonprofit agency “Sleep In Heavenly Peace” whose motto is “no kid sleeps on the floor in our town”. The build day is Saturday,11/2, from 7:30AM - 3PM at the Independence Mall parking lot and lunch will be provided!! The goal is to build 40+ bunkbeds that day that will be delivered to local kids!! Volunteers needed for all stations including measuring, cutting, drilling, sanding, assembly and staining. What’s more - any and all ages welcome!! No one under 18 will be allowed to operate the saws and they will have leaders at all stations showing you what to do!! The vibe at the worksite is described as fun and energetic. This is a great way to help with a local mission project that will directly benefit kids in our community.
