Interwoven: Mommy and Me Creative Time
Special Operations Forces Mothers and Children are invited to spend the morning with The Station Foundation to experience connection through creation and the magic of art. Our AR Workshop host has thoughtfully selected projects for both kids and moms to enjoy. Art has shown to encourage self-expression and regulation not only in adults but also in children. Creative expression serves as an excellent constructive outlet for big and complicated feelings that are hard to name by children. Art creates a space for children to process their feelings and possibly be more objective about their thoughts on a certain subject. It allows them to express an emotion in a way that is not constricted by words. We hope that this activity will help bring clarity to their minds but also connect them with other children that share the lifestyle of SOF warrior children and all the challenges that come along with it as well as allow them to enjoy the fun of summer in a colorful way.
Each child must be 7 years of age or older and attentive to instructions.
You will claim ONE ( 1 ) ticket per family. You will be prompted to enter the number of children attending, their name and age.

Additional Info:
- You will receive a follow up email with a link to make several design choices prior to the workshop.
- Moms and children will be making "swap art". Mother's will design the larger piece and children will design the smaller piece.
- Come dressed in casual, easy to move in, "play"clothing.
- No experience is necessary.
When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
