Course Description

The church's worship and preaching are God's missional platform that sends believers to the field of life so that they can live as worshipers and preachers of the gospel in the world. The purpose of this course is to enable urban missionary candidates to practice a missional church by equipping the entire church with communal and participatory worship and preaching theology so that all believers can live a missional life in various ministry and worship settings. This course is designed to introduce worship and preaching in general to urban missionary candidates who are new to preaching and worship, while helping them understand and practice the missional nature of worship and preaching. It is a communal and participatory way to restore the missional nature of worship and preaching as a concrete way to practice a missional church mainly through the worship and preaching issues of the contemporary church, theological understanding of worship and preaching, and historical understanding of worship and preaching. To this end, we will cover the worship and sermon preparation process, worship and sermon forms, worship & preaching and communication, worship & preaching ministry and the relationship with the Holy Spirit, worshiper theory & preacher theory, etc. Through this subject, the students will recognize the importance of missional worship and preaching that enable a missional life, and learn how to prepare and practice missional worship and preaching.

교회의 예배와 설교는 믿는 이들이 세상 가운데서 예배자요 복음의 설교자로 살아가도록 이들을 삶의 현장으로 파송하시는 하나님의 선교의 플랫폼이다. 본 과목은 도시 선교사 후보자들이 다양한 사역의 현장 및 예배 현장 가운데서 모든 믿는 이들이 선교적 삶을 살아갈 수 있도록 온 교회를 구비시키기 위한 공동체적이고 참여적인 예배와 설교 신학을 갖추어 선교적 교회를 실천하도록 하는 데 목적이 있다.
본 과목은 설교학과 예배학을 처음 접하는 도시 선교사 후보생들을 위하여 예배학과 설교학 전반을 소개하면서 예배와 설교가 갖는 선교적 본성을 이해하고 실천하기 위한 과목이다. 주로 현대 교회의 예배와 설교 현장, 예배와 설교의 신학적 이해, 예배와 설교의 역사적 이해를 통하여 선교적 교회를 실천하기 위한 구체적인 길로서 예배와 설교의 선교적 본성을 회복하기 위한 공동체적이며 참여적인 예배와 설교를 기획하고 실습하게 한다. 이를 위하여 예배와 설교 준비 과정, 예배와 설교 형태론, 예배 & 설교와 커뮤니케이션, 예배 & 설교 사역과 성령과의 관계, 예배자론 & 설교자론 등을 다루게 된다. 이 과목을 통해 선교적 삶을 가능케 하는 선교적 예배와 설교의 중요성을 인식하며, 어떻게 선교적 예배와 설교를 준비하고 실천할 것인지를 학습하게 된다.
