Mission You Matter
An Event to Bring Our Community Together for Veteran Mental Health Awareness.
Mission You Matter will take place on September 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Landing Zone in Gaylord, bringing together veterans, families, community organizations, and supporters for an evening dedicated to awareness, connection, healing, and hope.
Mission You Matter was created to raise awareness surrounding veterans’ mental health and to remind every veteran that their life matters, their story matters, and help is always available. The event aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment where veterans can connect with supportive resources, community partners, and others who understand the challenges many service members face after returning home.
Throughout the evening, attendees will have access to essential services and information from a variety of community organizations dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. The event will encourage open conversations about mental health, reduce stigma surrounding seeking help, and foster meaningful community connection.
There will also be a memorial to remember veterans who have died by suicide.
Community members are encouraged to attend, learn more about available resources, and stand together in support of veteran wellness and suicide prevention.
