Join us for Mission Thanksgiving 2025, celebrating 30 years of Love & Care Ministries serving those in need throughout Abilene and our surrounding rural communities.
This annual event is your opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of individuals and families who are struggling. Your donations help provide hot meals, boxed food, clothing, showers, rent, utilities, spiritual counseling, and most importantly, unconditional love.
This year, the need is greater than ever. We’re collecting:
🥫 Non-perishable food (residential & commercial)
💧 Bottled water
🍖 Frozen meat (deer or cow)
🛏️ Sleeping bags & blankets
🧴 Travel-sized personal hygiene items
🧦 New underwear & socks for all ages
🧥 Coats, shoes, and boots for men, women, and children
💵 Monetary donations
Your generosity helps programs like CarePack for Kids, which provided 81,793 CarePacks across 10 school districts this school year—feeding over 2,200 children each week. A $153 gift provides one child with food for the entire school year.
We also invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a “Wall of Love Sponsor” with a donation of $500 or more, helping us continue to meet the growing needs of our community.
