Mission Mito

Inspired by 'Unstoppable Emma', we are hosting our first annual Mission Mito event to raise awareness for Mitochondrial Disease. This rare disease is a progressive, degenerative, life threatening illness with limited resources and knowledge in South Africa. There is currently no cure. It is up to us to change that and raise much needed awareness to secure better resources, funding and care in SA for patients navigating this journey. When Emma fell ill in 2024, our lives changed on every level. And now it is our mission to shine a spotlight on Mito, educate others about it and drive the change and understanding that all Mito patients need. Together we can be UNSTOPPABLE!
