Girl Scouts in 6th to 12th grade will explore their personal leadership strengths and values, build skills in teamwork and communication, and apply their leadership through community, school, and Girl Scout activities. They'll engage in workshops on leadership styles, public speaking, decision-making, and more, while participating in team challenges.
Adults will focus on coaching vs. managing, understanding adolescent development, and fostering reflection, leadership experiences and supporting girl-led experiences.
Included in Adult Registration Cost:
* A conference goodie bag
* 1.5 hours of conference sessions to choose from, including:
* Coaching vs managing
* Creating space for girl-led experiences
* Reflection and goal setting
* DEI
* Adolescent development & communication
* And more!
* Learn about leadership opportunities for CSA Girl Scouts and local programming
Included in Girl Registration Cost:
* A conference goodie bag
* 1.5 hours of hands-on programming including:
* Leadership Styles Exploration: Learn about different leadership models identify your own style.
* Skill Building Workshops: Hands-on activities in public speaking, decision-making, conflict resolution, and goal-setting.
* Team Challenges: Participate in cooperative challenges that build trust, communication, and strategic thinking.
* Mentorship Opportunities: Work with adult volunteers or alumni to gain insight and feedback.
* Work toward Silver Torch Pin (Cadettes) or Gold Torch Pin (Seniors/Ambassadors)
