About this Event

First published in 1948, Tex Willer is one of the most popular and enduring comic book series in Italy. Tex introduced generations of Italian readers, young and old alike, to a Western hero who challenged many conventions of the genre. A former outlaw turned Texas Ranger and Navajo chief, Tex is known as the Aquila della Notte (Eagle of the Night). Faithful to the memory of his late Navajo wife, Lilyth, he is fiercely committed to defending Native American rights and often finds himself at odds with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Tex proudly devotes himself to fighting injustice, from confronting corrupt officials and hunting bandits to battling the evil magician Mefisto.
