Mission Conference

The event will feature a range of special guests, including:

• Fabrice Muamba, former Bolton Wanderers star whose remarkable survival story after a cardiac arrest has inspired millions worldwide. For example, Health Policy Impact. Fabrice’s cardiac arrest had far-reaching implications for health policy in the UK: (a) Defibrillators in public places: His incident highlighted the importance of public access to defibrillators, now required in many venues across the country; (b) CPR Training: CPR training has become increasingly popular in schools and communities, empowering non-clinical staff and even children with life-saving skills.
• Eddie Kadi, British-Congolese comedian and presenter, the first Black British comedian to headline London’s O2 Arena. Eddie’s story is an inspiration and a powerful reminder that faith and laughter can go hand in hand, and that joy is both a gift and a calling.
• Navaid and Lindsay Syed, community leaders who transformed a former drug house in Bolton into a 24-hour Community House of Prayer.
• Bill Peverley, a stroke survivor, Bill has experienced God’s miraculous favour in his recovery and continues to live as a testimony of His grace. He is always joyful to share how he became part of the Ephrata family and why belonging to this community fills him with hope and purpose.
• Apostle Andre Diba, With a deep passion for mission, Apostle Diba has ministered in Ireland, Angola, and the DRC, faithfully sharing the love of God across nations.

• In addition, the conference will showcase Ephrata church volunteers, who have touched lives across Bolton with projects tackling loneliness in care homes through singing and fellowship.

Dr Hubert Kayonda Ngamaba, Senior Pastor of Ephrata Church, said:
