Come join Mission City Swing June 21-22, 2025 at The Polish Club in San Francisco for an incredible workshop weekend with Sean McKeever and Alyssa Glanville! 🎉When it comes to pushing the envelope of West Coast Swing, Sean and Alyssa are the couple to watch. Independently, these two Champion dancers are known for their work ethic, love of movement, and joy of sharing their art. Between the two of them, they hold several titles in Classic, Strictly Swing, and Jack and Jills, and most recently, placed 2nd in the Classic Division at the Open Swing Dance Championships! They are committed to continuously growing themselves as dancers and artists, and will share that passion as they teach around the world.

Sean and Alyssa will be teaching 6 hours of leveled workshops (*all L2/3/4 workshops will be on Sunday!*), plus an additional teacher training session for Advanced/All-Star dancers interested in growing their West Coast Swing teaching skills. We’ll have a practice session after the first workshops on Saturday afternoon and a social dance party Sunday evening after everything! The full schedule will be shared closer to the event.

6:00-7:00pm: Practice Session
7:00pm: Venue Closed (Go support one of the other amazing Bay Area Saturday dances!)
Sunday June 22nd
1:15-2:15pm: Level 3/4 Workshop
2:15-3:15pm: Level 3/4 Workshop
3:30-4:30pm: Level 2/3 Workshop
4:30-5:30pm: Level 2/3 Workshop
5:30-7:00pm: Dinner Break!
7:00-8:00pm: All Levels Workshop & Beginners Bootcamp
8:00pm: Social Dance w/ DJ Kathleen Sun & Demo
11:00pm: Venue Closed

Levels:

- Beginner Bootcamp: Open to all levels as well as first-time dancers.
- All-Levels: Open to anyone comfortable with basic WCS patterns.
- Level 2/3: Should know the basics of the dance but needs help refining basic techniques and movement.
- Level 3/4: Should be confident with basic techniques and is looking for more variations and ways to express movement to music.
- Adv/All-Star: Requires valid WSDC points in Advanced or All-Star divisions or better.
