About this Event

Saturday, October 10, 2026

11 am Pacific in person and via EWTN

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Mission of St. Francis of Assisi (Mission Dolores) by St. Junipero Serra and his Franciscan brothers, join us in person or via EWTN for Mass.

The Mass, featuring Frank La Rocca’s music, commissioned by Archbishop Cordileone through the Benedict XVI Institute, will be celebrated as a solemn Latin Novus Ordo, with music provided by the Archbishop’s Schola.

A reception will follow.

Register today to help us plan for the reception or to receive the EWTN link. This is not a ticketed event, registration does not guarantee seating but will help us make sure we buy enough appetizers for you to enjoy fellowship afterwards.

All Archdiocesan clergy are specially invited. Mission Dolores will offer special access to see the extraordinary art work created by the local Indian converts in the church, which is the oldest building standing in San Francisco.
