Miss Mayes County Scholarship Pageant 2025

The Pryor Sertoma Club is thrilled to announce the return of the Miss Pryor Scholarship Pageant, a cherished community tradition, celebrating its 75th anniversary. The pageant will occur on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Avra Performing Arts Center in Pryor Oklahoma.

  For 75 years, the Pryor Sertoma Club, with the generous support of the Pryor community, has awarded almost $500,000 in scholarships to empower young women to pursue higher education. This milestone year underscores the pageant's longstanding commitment to investing in the future of local students.

  Pageant Directors Hannah Perry and Jeremy Scheffel, along with their dedicated team of volunteers, have been working diligently to create an exceptional experience for contestants and attendees alike. Since mid-December, contestants have been preparing through coaching and workshops, honing their skills in the following categories:

• Interview: Contestants will participate in personal interviews with a diverse panel of judges, providing valuable experience for future academic and professional pursuits.
• On-Stage Question: This segment challenges contestants to think critically and communicate effectively under pressure.
• Talent: Each contestant will showcase her unique talents in a dedicated performance segment.
• Evening Gown/Poise: Contestants will demonstrate poise and confidence during the evening gown presentation.
