The Miss Lou Band kicks off a New Year of Live music at the Door Gallery, and you're all invited!Miss Lou celebrates the great blues singers. The big influences on Miss Lou’s sound include notable female leads like Memphis Minnie, Ruthie Foster, Sippie Wallace, Irma Thornton, Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin.
The band plays a sassy, Americana style of Blues, uniquely highlighting Miss Lou’s classy retro vibe and her vocal prowess.
Miss Lou's Band are regulars at Melbourne Blues venues. They’ve performed at the Echuca Moama Winter Blues Festival, Blues Train, Drunken Poet, MBAS, Hume Blues and many pubs and clubs in Melbourne.
