About this Event
Miss Lindys Dance Hall Swing Dancing is about movement, joy, connection and community.
The teaching model is collaborative teaching/learning.
Most often, besides Tony, there are people attending that have
some experience and we simply support each other in the process
Swing Dance/Lindy Hop -We provide a beginning demo/lesson and a practice space for all. Beginners and All Levels of experience welcome
This is also known as Social and Partner Dancing, these steps and moves can be used with many musical genres …
We will demonstrate and practice 6-count single step and 6-count triple step,
as well as open position and closed position.

The playlist includes Big Band, Motown, Boogie piano, Jump Blues (not what we
typically think of when we say "blues" - this groove rocks with the early masters of

Tony is a musician, a poet, a community weaver and a reader.
He likes music, pie, nature and a blend of a rockin' Saturday night
followed by the quietude of a rainy Sunday morning.
