Our strong professional relationship spans more than 30 years, and her guidance, networks, and proven track record will ensure this event is polished, professional, and truly world-class.

kzndurban, the leading community platform celebrating Durban and KZN with over 35,000 followers and 1.5 million monthly views, today announced a landmark partnership with Irene’s Models, one of South Africa’s most respected model academies.
Irene Olivier, founder and master coach with 40 years of experience (including discovering and training international supermodel Candice Swanepoel and preparing Miss SA 2022 runner-up Ayanda Thabethe), will serve as Principal Collaborator and Head Mentor for the Miss KZN Durban Beauty Pageant 2026.
The pageant is exclusively for women aged 18–25 living in Durban, eThekwini, and KZN surrounds. Its mission is to empower local talent while heightening awareness of Durban’s breathtaking beaches, rich Zulu culture, and marketability as South Africa’s ultimate coastal destination.
