2026 Misophonia Collaboration Forum: Building Strategies for Action
Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Atlanta, GA for the Misophonia Collaboration Forum—a day-long, interactive convening designed to foster meaningful, bidirectional dialogue among researchers, clinicians, advocates, and individuals with lived experience and their loved ones.

The event is hosted by the Misophonia Research Fund and was developed with valuable input from partners across the misophonia & research communities— the Duke Center for Misophonia and Emotion Regulation, soQuiet Misophonia Advocacy, and the Misophonia Research Network. Building on the momentum of last year’s forum, this year’s gathering will place particular emphasis on distilling practical strategies that can be implemented now to enhance quality of life for those with misophonia, improve clinical care, guide research practices, and strengthen the misophonia field as a whole. This event centers on shared learning, mutual understanding, and collective action.
While the speaker lineup is still being finalized, the agenda will include the following sessions:

- State of the Research & Clinical Fields
- Accelerating Progress in Misophonia: From Barriers to Breakthroughs
- Lived Experience Spotlight
- Grassroots Strategies for Change: Overcoming Bottlenecks in Misophonia
- Co-Creating Strategies for the Future
Across these sessions, attendees can expect a mix of expert presentations featuring clinical, research, and lived experience perspectives, opportunities for audience Q&A, small-group discussions, and facilitated sharing with the broader audience. Virtual attendees will also have opportunities to engage throughout the event, including participation in presentations and Q&A sessions.
Space is limited for the in-person event. Virtual attendance is available. We encourage early registration to secure your spot and receive agenda updates as they are released.

This event is intentionally designed with input from members of the lived experience community to prioritize accessibility, minimize trigger sounds where possible, and create a space where participants can feel comfortable, respected, and able to openly engage. Additionally, we provide a designated quiet space, and clearly communicate expectations for attendees in advance. We invite attendees to share accommodation needs before the event and offer ongoing opportunities for feedback during the meeting.
