How would your tango change if you explored familiar movements from a completely new perspective?
In this 3-day intensive, we invite you to challenge your habits and expand your understanding of tango movement. By mirroring well-known figures and dancing them in less familiar directions, we develop greater versatility, creativity, and awareness in both leading and following.
Through guided exercises and partner work, we will explore how to navigate the unexpected while maintaining the essential qualities of tango: clear communication, balance, connection, and musical responsiveness.
During the intensive we will explore:
✨ Mirroring common tango figures and sequences
✨ Leading and following in unfamiliar directions
✨ Adaptability and creative problem-solving in movement
✨ Clear communication and responsiveness within the couple
✨ Breaking automatic habits and discovering new possibilities
This seminar is not about learning more figures — it is about discovering more possibilities within the figures you already know.
Our goal is to help you become a more flexible, conscious, and versatile dancer who feels confident and creative in any tango situation.
