What is Extra Life?
Founded in 2008 in honor of Victoria Enmon, a young leukemia patient who found comfort in video games during treatment, Extra Life unites gamers and creators to raise funds for local children’s hospitals. Donations stay local to support treatments, pediatric equipment, healthcare services and charitable care for Oklahoma children.
About Children's Health Foundation
The Children’s Health Foundation improves the health of children by supporting pediatric research, education, and care in all 77 counties of Oklahoma.
Since 1983, the Foundation has partnered with generous donors, a dedicated volunteer board, and thousands of community supporters to advance life-changing work for Oklahoma’s children. Through endowments and direct program support, we help recruit and retain nationally and internationally recognized pediatric physician-scientists who conduct groundbreaking research, treat patients, and train the next generation of medical professionals.
Thanks to the support of our community, the Children’s Health Foundation has raised more than $168 million for Oklahoma’s kids. Today, we proudly support 36 endowed chairholders, each backed by endowments exceeding $2 million, ensuring continued innovation and excellence in pediatric medicine.
Our commitment to impact is strong: 90 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to research, education, and care, and every dollar raised stays in Oklahoma, helping children and families in every corner of our state.
