MIRAAA Media Fest Fundraiser: Building Solidarity Across Texas

MIRAAA Media Festival is a tri-city experimental media festival, will take place over three consecutive weekends in August 2026 in McAllen, Laredo and Eagle Pass. Our mission is to empower artists from the south Texas-Mexico borderlands to explore non-traditional storytelling through collaboration and experimentation with the intention of illuminating under-represented border narratives. This year, we are opening the festival to artists / creatives / filmmakers / media-makers / experimenters from these regions, as well as others across the Texas-Mexico border. Our goal is to raise visibility and strengthen connection and relationships between central Texas + borderland artists and cultural workers, and raise funds that will support creatives from RGV, Laredo and Eagle Pass.
