What: Fall Foliage October Group Hike

When: Sunday, October 19th 1-3:30pm

Where: Lake Maria State Park - Monticello, MN
Trail details & ability level: Approximately 3.2 miles of trail. The trail is rated easy and will take approximately 2hrs to complete. We'll pace ourselves to accommodate others and the possibility of varying trail conditions. We honor staying together as a group as much as possible! Being able to hike at/around 2.5mph would be good for joining this hike.We'll be mindful of weather conditions before this hike to ensure everyone's safety.This includes temperature, rain/storms, and any elemental conditions as they present themselves. If there is a cancellation necessary, we will try to do so within 24hrs of the day of the hike.
What to bring: Weather appropriate clothing, sunglasses, a protective hat, consider boots or supportive footwear, sunscreen, bug spray, a daypack or similar with water, with personal, the Hiking 10 essentials, and a positive attitude! Due to a larger group setting, no dogs or pets unless they are working/service animals.
Admission & Parking: Parking and admission is $7 with a State Park Daily Pass OR your Annual Minnesota State Park pass.

Meet and Park at: The visitor center :) Might be best to use Google Maps if you can. Type in "Trail Center Monticello, MN" Use the Google Map Coordinates to the parking lot for the most accurate directions.
