Ever looked at a pile of bare miniatures and felt a little intimidated about where to start? This class is your friendly on-ramp. In one relaxed 90-minute session, we'll walk through the whole miniature painting process — from bare model to tabletop-ready — with no experience required.
We'll begin by priming your mini right here at the start of class, then build it up step by step: laying down clean base coats, deepening the recesses with shadows and washes, and making details pop with highlights and drybrushing. Along the way I'll share the practical tricks and shortcuts I actually use — the stuff that gets minis looking good and, more importantly, gets them done and on the table.
Everything you need is provided: a 3D-printed miniature and base, brushes, paints, and a palette. Want to use your own gear? Bring it. Already have a mini you've been meaning to start? Bring one 28–32mm model and make it your first.
I'm someone who occasionally likes painting minis — and by the end of this class, you can be too.
